Know what happens at both ends
Site details checked first
We assess levels, access and ground conditions before arranging erection.
Clear handling zones
We ask for room to unload and assemble components without obstruction.
Removal is part of the plan
We return after the agreed hire to dismantle and take everything away.
Careful assembly from the ground upwards
Scaffold erection starts before the first component is raised. We assess the work area, required levels, access route and available ground space so the structure can be planned for its intended use. On the arranged day, components are unloaded and moved into the erection zone before the scaffold is assembled in stages. Working heights and access points follow the task being completed, while ground conditions and the planned tie arrangement inform the structure. Keeping the area clear while we handle tubes, boards and fittings gives us practical room to work and helps prevent household or site activity from crossing the assembly zone.

The scaffold leaves when the hire ends
Erection is only half of the service. After the agreed work period, we return to dismantle the scaffold in a controlled sequence, lower the components and load them for removal. The dismantling area must remain clear in the same way as it did during installation. Before that return visit, tools, materials and waste belonging to the underlying project should be removed from the platforms. We coordinate the date with you so dismantling follows completed work rather than interrupting it. If the hire or project programme changes, we need to discuss the revised timing before collection is due.
Frequently asked questions
What must be clear before scaffold erection?
We need clear access to the agreed work and unloading areas. Vehicles, stored materials and loose items should be moved where possible so we can carry components and assemble the structure safely.
Do you return to dismantle the scaffold?
Yes. We arrange a later visit after the agreed work period to dismantle and remove it. Please confirm that the underlying job is complete and that tools and waste are off the platforms.
What affects the scaffold erection plan?
We consider the required working levels, access route, available footprint, ground conditions and intended task. Building shape and the planned tie arrangement also influence how the structure is assembled.
