Add a scaffold lift as Weymouth projects rise

Proven second-lift delivery. Two scaffolders. Return visits coordinated with site progress.

Reach the next stage without guesswork

Task-matched lift height

We position the added platform for the next active stage of work.

Progress-led return timing

We arrange the visit around site readiness and the build programme.

Experience of second lifts

We have added a proven second lift during a staged extension project.

Move the platform up with the work

Construction does not stay at one level. Once walls rise beyond the first platform, the active task can become difficult to reach and the original scaffold may no longer place the builder at a useful height. An additional scaffold lift raises or adds a working platform for the next stage. We match its position to the task, which could involve upper wall construction, structural work or preparation for the roof. The existing arrangement, intended working level and available clearance all need consideration. Planning for likely lifts at the start also makes it easier to connect the return visit with the wider programme.

Timed for the point it becomes useful

A lift installed too early may sit ahead of the build, while one arranged too late can leave the next stage waiting. We discuss progress with the person managing the site and arrange our return when the new level is needed. We have direct experience of this staged approach from a completed extension project where we returned to provide a second lift before later dismantling the scaffold. Each project follows its own timing, so we need an update on site readiness, the next working height and safe access to the structure before confirming the visit.

Frequently asked questions

What is an additional scaffold lift?

It is another working level added to or raised on an existing scaffold. Builders use it when the active work has moved higher and the original platform no longer gives practical access.

When should we request the next lift?

Contact us before the current stage reaches its limit. We will need the expected progress date and next working height so the return visit can be planned for a useful point in the programme.

Can every existing scaffold take another lift?

The existing arrangement and intended change need to be assessed. We review the structure, required height and next task before deciding how the additional working platform should be provided.
